What is No Excuses?

It's not a dating agency, dining club or singles club.

It's a new way to meet people and have fun.

No Excuses is an Edinburgh based networking group of like minded people. Some members join to make new friends, with shared interests. Some join because they're looking for a new partner. For others, it's about the chance to make new business contacts. For everyone, it's simply a good night out.

There are lots of reasons to join No Excuses. It’s ideal if you’ve just moved to Edinburgh, if your friends have all become coupled up, or if you’ve lived here for a while, but would like to widen your social circle or business network.

Everyone has met lots of new people, new friendships have been created, new business contacts made and some members have dated too.

Who are No Excuses members?

We’re mainly professionals, aged between mid twenties and fifties, but people of all ages are very welcome to join.

Our members are sociable, friendly and they're good at networking too. This means that they're quick to see connections and find interests in common.

What do we do?

No Excuses meets at regular, informal drinks nights, which are weekly for most of the year and monthly during the summer. There are other regular events too.

How do I join?

First of all, come along to one of our drinks nights on a trial basis. If you’d then like to join, there’s an excellent value for money annual membership fee, which gives you free access to all drinks nights and other events.
